Bienvenido! Well as you can plainly see there is a new look to this site! I’ve gone the way of verdant pastures and emerald skies and other greenish terms. I don’t know how long I’ll be keeping this scheme of course as everything is transitory when it comes to web design for me. The last site design seemed to have lasted quite a while with its blue and white plain goodness.

I still have quite a bit of work to do on this site especially since I’m still learning about this whole thing. One thing I know I’d like to change is the banner across the top and steal Jemal’s rotating banner thing cuz I like the rotating banners. I did have at one point 5 other banners but I’ve changed the size on them and they were mainly for testing anyway so they weren’t meant to be live yet.

Also if you’ll please notice I have also downloaded some plugin for whatever music software I’m currently using to display the current song whilst I type away the evening hours. Unbeknownst to you humble readers, is the fact that I probably won’t push the little button to paste that song title in here because I’ll most likely forget by morning so my advice is to not get too attached to my musical adventures.

Well anyway enough with the pleasantries here are some updates:

1) As I mentioned before I do have a new look to the site but the bigger part behind that is I’ve also changed the blogger software I use also. After very intense peer pressure, I’ve switched over to movabletype. It seems to be quite a bit more robust than the last blogger that I used although MT sure seemed a bit more difficult to get customized initially. I was quite pleased with b2 but all good things must come to an end as they are wont to say and I believe that I’ll be enjoying MT as I learn and configure this page the way I think it should be.

2) Along with a new blogger I have new bloggs! Two in fact. I have this one plasma archer.com and this one. The second one will hopefully be a place where I can try to write something. Anything. Not sure how well that will work out since it doesn’t seem to have worked out very well so far. I’ve included categories for others, if on the off chance someone wants to post something they’ve written to share with whoever it is that reads these damn things other than myself.

3) And last but not least is that I’m using something called Zempt to publish this entry. It’s a pretty nifty little app so far and seems to make blog entries very easy. Although I do think that I have a certain preference as far as fonts and style go when I’m typing. e.g. I only like typing when it’s in 10 pt verdana or something oh well I’m not going to stay awake long enough to try and explain that but I’ll keep it there cuz it makes this post longer.

New Year’s Resolution #7: Listen to that voice in my head that keeps telling me about why getting more human heads just makes sense.
