About

Where my time goes to die...

Howdy.

That’s how I say “Hello”.  I used to say “Hello” or even the occasional “Hi” while growing up in San Diego but after moving to the Midwest I thought it would be better that way in order to assimilate to my new surroundings.  Unfortunately “Howdy” seems to be something that you only really hear on the television these days.  I tried at least.  Sometimes I get crazy and throw out a “How-do” but that just causes someone to tilt their head and give me a strange look so I stick to the t.v. based “Howdy” as a general rule.

I’m residing with my wonderful wife and our crazy wonky-eyed dog in the buckle of the Bible Belt, where I learned all about what allergies are and how I have all of them.

I am probably about as scatterbrained as you can be without being a complete nut job. I enjoy reading, writing, gaming and a plethora of other indoor activities that range from the lazy to the downright sloth like. I enjoy books and games about just about anything from the undead to pirates to undead pirates. I’d choose Linux and OS X over Windows if Linux or OS X could play all the games I like to play but until then I’m stuck with Windows. One of my favorite pastimes is playing and designing board games. I am currently employed as a UNIX dood and constantly learning a little bit about anything that catches my fancy.

This site is hopefully going to be about my forays into the world of game design, writing and whatever other personal tidbits I decide to write about.  Mainly I just like to redo my website every year just for kicks.

You can follow me on Twitter (follow link should be floating on the right side of the page hopefully) but I really only post there consistently during BGG CON (Board Game Geek Convention) time so its likely there won’t be much information there but you never know.

Enjoy!
